Remove water 1 hour before

What analgesics are good for use in small furries?
A
Buprenorphine or Butorphanol.
Avoid prolonged NSAID use, but can be used.

How long do ferrets need to be starved before anaesthesia?
A
No more than 4-6 hours as prone to hypoglycaemia. Treat them like a cat apart from this.
