Distal epiphysis:
Very bottom of the long bone
Red bone marrow:
-When found in young, in medulla
-When found in old, in spongy bone
-Contains hematopoietic stem cells
Yellow Bone Marrow:
-Adult medullas
-Stem cells: bone, cartilage, fat
