- Tell the driver what is happening.
- Dictate, or give the driver modified working arrangement ticket.
- Instruct the driver to stop at the end of the single line section if necessary
- Instruct the driver to pass signal at danger that is controlling the entrance to the single line section.

If a train has failed in the single line section (2)

- Get permission from the responsible person before allowing an assisting train to enter the occupied single line section.
- You must not dictate or give a drivers ticket to the driver of the assisting train.
