What is the mean of criminal responsibility?
Is a person responsible or accountable for his/her criminal conduct, and there was no excuse under the law for the act or conduct.
Where do you find the elements of criminal responsibility?
In the Division 5 of the Criminal Code Act
In terms of Accident, is the person criminally responsible for his/her action?
Under Section 24 of CCA, where a crime of offense is committed by an accident or by some involuntary act, the person committing it is not usually regarded as being criminally responsible.
What does section 30 of CCA, say about Immature Age?
It states that children under the age of 10 years cannot be convinced in a court for any offence, because they are too young to have an understanding that what they have done is wrong. They are not criminally responsible for their actions.
What does section 33 of CCA, say about compulsion of the husband?
Simply means a married woman is not free from criminal responsibility and can be charged and punished by court for committing an offence in the presence of her husband.
What is criminal liability?
- Attempt to commit a Crime or Offence.
- If a person intends to commit a crime or offence, and actually takes steps towards fulfilling an act but does not fulfill it to an extent.
