Counterpart
A person or thing that has the same function as another person/thing in a different place. (E.g. the counterpart to Boris Johnson in the USA is Joe Biden - similar roles, different places)

To protect and care for

To not care for (something or someone) properly

The name given for the middle value in a set of objects or numbers
Mode
The most common number in a set of numbers
The way in which something usually occurs or is done
Abstain
To stop oneself from doing something (e.g. abstain from drinking alcohol)
Indulge
To allow oneself (or someone else) to do something they enjoy
Divulge
To let out a secret (or private information)
Ensure
To make certain of (something)
Democracy
A government system where leaders are elected by the people.
