Its eyes — deep, glassy pools of crimson — glowed with an eerie intensity, scanning the quiet around it.
The long, upright ears, delicate and veined with pink, twitched at every tiny sound, alert and watchful. Its nose fluttered constantly, as if breathing in secrets carried on the wind. Sharp claws peeked from its dainty front paws, resting gently on the cool grass, while its powerful hind legs were tucked beneath it, ready to burst into motion. Behind it, a round, snowy tail bobbed like a ball of cotton. There was something unnerving in its stillness — a creature so soft, yet with eyes that seemed to see through you.
