What is cornea?

A

The transparent window of the eye. It is strong, convex structure which bends light as it enters the eye.

A

A hole that lets light pass through onto the lens.

A

It is made of coloured muscles which can control how much light enters the eye.

A

It’s tough and clear, and focuses light rays entering through the pupil onto the fovea on the retina.

A

It detects light and sends electrical impulses to the brain through the optic nerve.

A
