Auchentoshan Three Wood
Has been matured in three different cask types: From American Bourbon to Spanish Oloroso Sherry - and finally Pedro Ximenez Sherry casks.
ABV: 43%
Smooth, rich and complex. Rich fruits, chocolate and toasted hazelnut.
Serve: neat, Old Fashioned, Auchentoshan and Ale
Auchentoshan 12yo
ABV: 40%
Smooth and complex. Mandarins, toffee and honeysuckle. Matured in Oloroso (sherry) and bourbon casks for over 12 years.
Serve: Manhattan
Glenkinchie 12yo
ABV: 43%
Appearance: Bright gold
Vanilla, cut flowers, fresh citrus, lemon cheesecake, butter icing notes. Herbal and drying finish.
Light-bodied.
Serve: Brilliant as an aperitif (with a few drops of water).
Pairing: Cheesecake, Cullen Skink.
Glenkinchie Distillers Edition
First maturation in a refill cask to develop the soft distillery character for 10 years. Secondary maturation in a specifically chosen Amontillado (sherry) cask wood.
ABV: 43%
Appearance: Golden brown
Soft vanilla, crisp grape, nuts, biscuit-sweetness.
Very long, dry, oaky finish with spices and caramel notes.
Body: Light to medium.
Serve: neat.
Pairing: Light vanilla cheesecake.
Ailsa Bay
Ailsa Bay is the only Scotch whisky to undergo a process called ‘micro maturation’.
Process: 1. First filled into small Hudson Bourbon casks for 6-9 months (intense rapid maturation) 2. Maturation in virgin first fill and refill American Oak casks for several years.
ABV: 48.9%
Balanced fresh wood smoke with oaky sweetness and peaty dryness. Candied orange peel, vanilla oak, and creamy toffee notes.
