Moons path around the earth is tilted so it’s rare that is’s perfectly in line to create eclipse…..

Why is it more rare to see a total solar eclipse vs. a lunar eclipse ?

Lunar eclipses are more widely visible because Earth’s shadow is larger then the moon.
