What is a Sauropod?
A Sauropod is a quadrupedal dinosaur that has a long neck and has thick stocky legs. All Sauropods were herbivores that were known to be the largest dinosaurs to ever walk on land.
Brachiosaurus
Brachiosaurus was a sauropod that had a small crest on its head, and was know to be one of the tallest sauropods. It grew up to 98 feet in length and 43 feet in height.
Sauroposeidon
Sauroposeidon was the tallest sauropod to ever walk on land. Sauroposeidon tracks were found by the peluxy river in glen rose texas where it was being hunted by the famous theropod Acrocanthosaurus.
Apatosaurus
Apatosaurus was a sauropod that lived during the late Jurassic. It grew up to approximately 75 feet in length. It is also famously referred to as the Brontosaurus.
Argentinosaurus
Argentinosaurus was the largest known dinosaur to ever roam the earth. It grew up to 220,000 pound averaging 88-100 pounds gained per day while growing. It was hunted by the theropods Mapusaurus and Giganotosaurus.
Diplodocus
Diplodocus was a sauropod know for length and its long whip tail.It had comb like teeth and it grew up to 85 feet in length.
