What is it?
A
- Chronic, systemic, granulomatous disease
- Exaggerated T helper lymphocyte response –> granuloma formation and fibrosis

A
- Abnormal XR (30%)
- Fever, LOW, malaise, cough, dyspnoea (20%)
- Arthralgia + EN (20%)
- Eye - uveitis, sicca (10%)
- Palpable LN (5%)
- Hepatosplenomegaly
- Skin - lupus pernio (5%)
- Rare: cardiac arrhythmias, hypercalcaemia, CN palsies

Investigations (7)
A
- Eosinophilia
- ACE
- ESR
- CXR - cavitation, aspergillus
- CT - GG, exclude TB
- RFT - ILD, decreased VC, decreased DLCO, normal FEV1/FVC ratio - can get mixed obstruction
- Biopsy via bronch
