What are Barnardo’s 3 stages of sexual exploitation?
A
Stage 1 - A young person is involved in inappropriate relationships
Stage 2 - A young person is a victim of peer and ‘boyfriend’ exploitation, which may be, but is not always, associated with groups and/or gangs
Stage 3 - A young person is involved in organised sexual exploitation. This can involve moving young people around towns and cities for sex and sometimes the arranging of networks and exchange of money for sexual services.
