What is the method for measuring reaction times?

• First person sits on a stall and places the forearm of their dominant arm across the table
• Person two holds a ruler vertically above the hand making sure the 0cm mark is between person ones thumb and first finger
• Person 2 drops the ruler for person 1 to catch and records measurement level with thumb
• Repeat at least 5 times and calculate a mean
• The people can swap to see how reactant times vary
