Q

How does Socrates propose they look for justice? What is the analogy he uses?

A

He proposes to look at a bigger example of justice first, like how a city uses justice, then look at individual beings, or a smaller example of justice.; He uses the analogy of letters, and tells them to “suppose looking at a letter with small letters and not very sharp sight; then someone notices the same transcription somewhere else with bigger letters on a larger tablet—that would be a great piece of luck”.
