All GCMs and SPCMs which are not eligible for automatic appellate review;
All GCMs and SPCMs which are eligible for automatic appellate review, but where the review is either waived or withdrawn by the accused or where the accused does not file a timely appeal.

Question 2

Are courts-martial in which the accused is found not guilty reviewed on appeal?

Answer 2

No. There is no automatic appeal for cases where the accused is found not guilty.

Who must approve a sentence of death?

Answer 3

The President of the United States.
