What does the VOICE / BOTH switch do

A

Switches the Morse Code ID on and off.
In the BOTH position, Morse Code is audible
In the VOICE only position, the voice is audible

What does the EMER / NORM switch do on the audio control panel?

A

It is used in the event of an ACP failure.
It bypasses regular wiring and allows the use of VHF 1 and NAV 1 on the captains side,
And VHF 2 and NAV 2 on the FO’s side.
