Indications: for Quetiapine
Schizophrenia
Bipolar: Manic, Depression
Adjunct to MDD
Starting dosage for Quetiapine
25 - 50 mg/ BID or HS
Rationale: Avoid orthostatic hypotension
Titration: 4 days
Target dosage for Schizophrenia
150 - 175 mg TOTAL per day
BID or TID
Recommended starting dosage for Bipolar mania
50 mg/BID for a total of 100 mg/day
Recommended titration for Bipolar Mania
Titrate 100 mg day to achieve 200 mg/ BID by day 4
Recommended target dosage for Bipolar Depression
300 mg/HS
Maximum Daily dosage of Quetiapine
800 mg per day
