Define initial entry
A
When a BA team withdraws from the risk area and reports to ECO they have not removed their BA mask and broken their seal but are going back in to perform further tasks.

Define re-entry
A
- Still under control of ECO
- For a clear defined task which should not be firefighting unless to protect BA wearers.
- Cylinder sufficient for the task.
- Fitness and well-being fit for task.
- Minimum pressure of 150 BAR

Define new entry
A
BA wearer has withdrawn from the risk area. Closed down their set and carried out a general check. If fit and well had enough rest and water they may be asked to go in as a new entry.
