Beauty and Brains

A

Why choose? I believe they’re the perfect combination. Beauty is the canvas, and brains are the brush strokes that bring that painting to life. Beauty comes with imperfections that makes it unique, and brilliance of the mind matches its charm flawlessly, they create an unparalleled harmony, a masterpiece that not only inspires but also captivates. It’s not about one overshadowing the other; it’s about the exquisite fusion of both, igniting a spark that illuminates the world with unparalleled radiance

Old tradition that needs to stop(Crab Mentality)

A

Crab mentality is a common phenomenon in our Filipino culture. By constantly comparing ourselves to others, we create a sense of competition and negativity that leads to self-doubt and stagnation. I believe it’s essential for us to break free from this toxic mindset, by supporting and uplifting each other instead of tearing each other down. Let’s celebrate our individual strengths and successes, and strive for a more positive and empowered community.

Mental Health Due To Social Media

A

We scroll through social media, comparing our lives to the curated highlight reels of others. But the constant bombardment of heavily edited perfect photos and witty status updates is a devastating toll for our mental health, setting unrealistic standards for the youth.Pretty much everyone doesn’t feel comfortable in their own skin.
And that’s why I believe, we must promote authentic online conversations. Let’s encourage each other to share our struggles, not just our highlight reels. And let’s hold social media platforms accountable for creating a culture that prioritizes likes and shares over our own mental well being.

On the poor reading comprehession/ctirical thinking of the youth

I believe poor reading skills among the youth today are due to a lack of emphasis on critical thinking and deep understanding in education. A

It’s not about being perfect, it’s about being consistent. It’s not about being easy, it’s about being willing to put in the effort. My Lolo Floro used to say that when you put in the time and effort, you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve. and I believe that. When I think about all the sacrifices he made for our family, I’m reminded of the importance of perseverance. When you commit to something, you have to be willing to see it through, even when it gets tough. So don’t give up, don’t give in. Keep pushing forward.

It is still in the same condition as to when my grandmother was young. This is a testament as to how well estahons take care of mother nature, so whenever you are at Taft and you love nature and swimming, I highly suggest you to go, give it a visit.

38
Q

Teenage Pregnancy

A

They say the reason why this happens is because of the lack of sex education. I believe it’s not just that we have the internet and kids learn at a suprisngly young age. It’s the lack of gudiance, not knowing what to do with, these urges, these changes they feel in their bodies. They lack the self control which is why it is for the parents, teachers the elders to educate the youth about the importance of sexual responsibility that there are consequences giving into your human urges.

39
Q

Road Safety

A

Aside from allocating a budget towards more signs and building better quality roads. I would also advocate implementing very stirct requirements for someone to operate a vehicle. In the province we can drive a motorcycle without a lisence and without a helmet. Vote buying

A

I would advocate educating the youth about the importance of voting wisely, instilling values of ethics and empathy and crictical thinking empowering young minds to vote wisely regardless of the amount of money they will recieve. 43
Q

For the unemployed

A

I believe education should be free. Anyone who has the dedication and the willingness to learn should be acknowledged and given a chance. I believe one of the best ways to tackle unemployment is to give them that chance by holding free job seminars, giving them proper and adequate training. Provide them a certificate after training to certify them to be eligible for these jobs. A lot of people are willing to work, but not everyone is given the opportunity, so by having this seminars, we are giving the people not just what they want but what they need to live a prosperous life.
