Describe Ruby Port style?
*The youngest & least expensive red Port.
*Aged for 4 years, and ready for drinking as soon is bottled.
Describe Ruby Reserva Port Style?
*Premium blend of good quality Ruby Ports of more than one vintage.
Describe Towny & white Reserva Port?
*Must be matured in wood for a minimum of 7 years.
Describe Late-botlled Vintage (LBV)?
*Port from a single year, other than declared vintage.
*Matured in wood for 6 years before bottling.
*The year of the vintage and bottling date must be stated on the label.
*No decanting needed.
Describe Crusted Port?
*Blend of a quality wines from a number of vintages.
*Unfiltered and matured in the bottle for a min of 3 years.
*Decanting is required.
Describe Vintage Port?
*Produced only in exceptional years, matured in casks for 2 years and then bottled.
*Great ageing potential, and will continue to improve for many years in the bottle.
Deep purple in color, sweet and full bodied with 20-22 %abv.
*Very suitable with strong cheeses such as Stilton or at the end of the meal.
*All Vintage ports must be decanted before service.
