• Antibiotics - rifampicin and rifabutin
• Anti-epileptic drugs - for example, carbamazepin
• Anti-retrovirals
• St John’s wort (herbal product)

POP - what if i miss a pill

• take last pill AS SOON AS you remember (even if taking 2 in one day)
• continue rest of pack as normal
• use alternative contraception for 2 days
• emergency contraception if UPSI in those 2 days

POP - how to take the pill

• Generally take 1 pill everyday at the same time
• Pills are run back to back with no break
• Can start the pill at ANY time in your cycle (as long as NOT pregnant)
