Answer 1

Unresponsive, not breathing normally and:
- Pulseless
- HR < 40 children
- HR < 60 infants

2. What is the ratio of compressions to ventilations for paeds?

Answer 2

• No ETT/SGA: 15:2 - pause for ventilations (30:2 single rescuer)
• ETT/SGA in situ: 10 ventilation/min, no pause

3. What ages and weight are the Paediatric pads used for?

Answer 3

Up to and including 8 years, <25kg
