Highly individualized, determined empirically, long time use (smallest effective dose), plan your vaccine at least one month after your final dose of corticosteroids, prolonged treatment with high doses only if disorder is life threatening or has potential to cause permanent disability. increased during times of stress, gradual weaning, alternate day therapy
