- Tooth is given 2 numbers
- First number refers to quadrant of the mouth
- Second number refers to the position of the tooth fron the midline

How many teeth are found ina quadrant for a deciduous dentition?
5 teeth
State the quadrant numbers for a permanent dentition
- 1 = Upper Right
- 2 = Upper Left
- 3 = Lower Left
