Even Numbers
A number is even if there is no remainder when it is divided by 2.
Prime Numbers
A prime number is any number that can only be evenly divided by two unique numbers: itself and 1.
eg: 2, 3, 5, 7, 11
1 is not a prime number because both values must be unique.
Rational Numbers
A number that can be expressed in fractional form without approximation.
Decimal values must either be terminating or repeating.
Composite Numbers
Numbers that are divisible by more than themselves and 1.
Irrational Numbers
Any number that cannot be expressed by a fraction without approximation. The decimal is an infinite, non-terminating, non-repeating value.
