- Misnomer, not sarcoma, its hyperplasia
- Variants
a. Classic–commonly in LE, good prognosis
b. Epidemic–HIV association, mucosal, deadly
c. Endemic–lymphadenopathic, always deadly
d. Immunosuppresant–transplant associated, seen in LE
