X Septicaemic (poor serum levels) X Renal Impairment (less effective + increased risk peripheral neuropathy) Caution in: Anaemia Diabetes mellitus Vitamin B12 and folate deficiency Pulmonary disease Hepatic and renal impairment Any condition associated with peripheral neuropathy (severe and irreversible neuronal damage may result)
