genocide
the systematic killing of a group with the intent to wipe out a religious, ethnic, or racial group.
ghettos
historically, a part of a city were a minority, often based on ethnicity or religion, was required to live.
holocaust
the period of state-sponsored persecution of millions of Jews by Adolf Hitler and the Nazi regime, with the goal of exterminating Europe’s Jews population.
persecution

the belief that one’s own ethnic, religious, or politic group is superior to all others.
