Do you usually follow the news?
Yes, I consume news from various sources and I think it is important to be aware of what’s happening around the world. And I believe that all people should follow domestic and international news from reliable sources.
I’m really fond of getting news from various sources because I just want to make myself better informed about the world. And I think it’s very important that people follow the news that are happening around the word in domestic and international level for more awareness.
Where do you usually get your news?
Normally I consume news from TV programs, which are very convenient and updated; however, on my busy days when I don’t have time to watch TV, I follow the news from the Internet with my smartphone.
What types of TV shows are you interested in?
Im fond of documentary channels such as National Geography or timeline. These channels offer a wide variety of documentaries such as biography, true crimes, or astronomy from all over the world.
Do you prefer reading newspapers or magazines?
I prefer newspapers Because magazines are misleading on the other hand newspapers provide serious articles about all the current events in several fields like the economy, politics, and sports with reliable sources. and you can’t find scandals and sensations in them.
What are the advantages of reading news online?
Consuming news online has various benefits the first one is convenient. You can easily have access to a wide range of news anywhere and at any time. The other reason is that it’s more eco friendly. Instead of reading news in magazines and newspapers, you can read online without the need for paper or chemical inks which are harmful to the environment.
-Are there any disadvantages to online news?
To begin with, online news is misleading and can’t be trusted because anyone with a smartphone can spread false news and rumors. Another reason is addiction. Electronic media can be addictive, leading to users spending excessive amounts of time on their devices, and have harmful effects on other aspects of their lives.
How do people get the news in your hometown?
The most common way to consume news in my city these days is through digital platforms like websites and apps because they are easier to use (to stay up to date with current events) and people can have access to a wide range of news from anywhere at any time.
and cheaper than buying a newspaper. They are probably more environmentally friendly too.
Describe a piece of news you found interesting
I cannot usually manage time to read
newspapers so I rely on television news instead to stay updated about everything thing that is happening around the world.
I usually watch TV at night before going to bed and last night the news anchor Was talking about a new shelter for street cats that is going to be made.
the most interesting part is that the location of this shelter is going to be so close to where I live.
Honestly, I noticed the extreme rise in the population of sick street cats myself and this shelter is going to track down these animals, cure them, and monitor their behavior and reproduction with the latest technology.
they are also going to control their diet and physical condition in order to prevent the spread of diseases.
The news anchor continued by describing the facilities that this shelter can offer to cats such as free medicine, food, and even a playground.
They are also going to accept volunteers and doctors to find and help as many cats as they can so as a veterinarian and a cat lover it’s a great opportunity for me to take this job and try to make a change in my city.
