Features of a CT scan and advantages?
A
1) Better than MRI for bone and calcification
2) Quicker scan times than MRI
Limited detail, and needs contrast

Features of MRI?
A
No ionising radiation. excellent anatomical detail and multiple planes
(Noisy, claustrophobic, takes longer than CT and contrast injection potentially)

What is myelography done for?
A
Contrast and Xray/CT to look for problems in the spinal canal

How are brain scans read?
A
Flipside and back to front
RHS on LHS and front of brain at bottom -> Taken through the feet
