Q

Where are neurological cells found and what are some examples of what cells can be found here?

A

In the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord):
- astrocytes
- oligodenrocytes
- microglial cells
- ependymal cells

Q

What is the function of neurones and neuroglia cells?

A

Neurones:
- receive and facilitate nerve impulses
- classified based on function and structure
Neurological cells:
- supporting cells, e.g. facilitate conduction of nerve impulse, immune function, maintenance of neurones
