Q

why does it look as though the sun moves across the sky when we know that the sun does not move?

A

the sun seems to move because earth is rotating (turning). The sun seems to move from East to West, but that is because the earth is rotating from west to east.

Q

why do you think we have a leap year every 4 years and not every 3-5 years?

A

this is because it is 365.25 days. As our calender only has 365 days, four quarters make up an extra day every 4 years.
