DVLA Rules

A

Group 1:
Mild/moderate depression - nothing.
Dementia/LD/PD - decided on case by case basis. But must inform DVLA.
Severe depression/anxiety - inform DVLA and stop driving whilst waiting.
Acute psychosis/mania etc - inform DVLA, stop driving and may be able to drive after 3 months.
Group 2:
6 months for anxiety/depression
12 months for acute mania etc
