monitor, disseminator, spokesperson
what is the monitor role
manager is constantly looking out for environmental changes that could have an impact on the success of the company

has the information and then decides what to do with it
what is the spokesperson role
inform and satisfy the key stakeholders in the organization, shareholders and groups that either have an impact or will be impacted

entrepreneur, disturbance handler, resource allocator, negociator

look for new ideas, initiate new products, whether or not to carry on with products, deciding what happens when

solving problems and conflicts within the organization

has authority/control on the resources, including the managers time

with key clients, suppliers or people that you want as part of the executive team
