Wattaeu was during Rocco Movement, King Louie.

Happy party scene, feathering brush strokes, pastel colors, Lovely and happy, but ontop of something dark and immoral

Cythera: Love island owned by Venus, People packing up to go to the island, without their spouses

Window into a world we don’t want to be in, not realistic place, Rocco is very organic, not everyday people

Woman - Very elongated spine and arm, very stylized body, sex object. Lots of textiles, even skin is luminenstant and velvet texture. She’s not really doing anything
