scanning, low, high
What is the scanning lense?
red stripe, magnify ability 4x
What is the low lense?
yellow stripe, magnify ability 10x
What is the high lense?
blue stripe, magnify ability 40x
What is the stage?

What is the voltage control knob?
adjusts intensity of light
What is the field number?
on eyepiece, (18), used to calculate FD
Field of view?
Illuminated circle when looking in
How to calculate TM?
Eyepiece x Objective
Ex. 10x x 4x = 40x (Scanning TM)
Conversion for mm to um
1mm = 1000 Micrometer (um)
How to calculate FD in mm?
FN/Objective Magnification
Ex. 18/40 = 0.45 mm —> x1000 = 450um
What does parcentral mean?
in center with one magnification, will be in center with next
What does parfocal mean?
in focus with one magnification, should be with next
Working distance
distance between objective and slide
Iris Diaphragm Ring
Adjust amount of light passing through condenser
