What was the objective of the manor system?
To grow crops and feed the people in the village

Framing, Animals, and nothing.
What purpose did the animals serve after they moved fields?
They fertilized the ground with feces and they were a source of food for the people.

It was previously filled with crops so by having nothing growing on it, it was letting the ground rest for the next rotation.

The field where the animals where.

The field with nothing.
