Proper indication: Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
- Appropriate doses: 0.3-0.5mg for adults, 0.15 for children
- Contraindications: Myocardial infarction (none in the emergency
situation)
- Side effects: Hypertension, tachycardia, anxiety, pain at the site of
injection
