- Valuation technique used to measure shop frontage where the front of shop Is more valuable than the back based on the halving back technique.
- Split into zones, each zone around 20 ft (30ft zone for oxford street, bond street, Scotland). Use halving back principle down to Zone C or D then remainder
How do you zone an upper level of a shop? or a storage room?

How would you measure a property on a corner?
Means there is a return frontage
- Measure the main frontage, then add an additional % to the Zone A space (if return frontage is 10ft, then add 10/ 7.5 / 5% to the Zone A value)

No set RICS tolerance. Based on site specific conditions and difficulty of measuring.
i.e greater margin of error acceptable for a out of town car park than a London office
