A
The most common clinical disorder of the pituitary/hypothalamus
Normally, dopamine inhibits prolactin

Testing for Hyperprolactinemia
A
Look at prolactin levels in the blood
If mildly elevated, repeat it

Prolactin and GNRH
A
Elevated prolactin decreases GnRH, which causes LH and FSH to decrease, therefore turning off the menstrual cycle (amenorrhea).
In males, this can result in low testosterone.

Galactorrhea
A
Lactation.
Make sure that there are fat droplets in it.
Not all women with hyperprolactinemia get this.
