How is plywood made?
A
Veneers place on top of each other, ensuring the grain is perpendicular to the next veneer. Adhesives are used the stick the veneers together, then they are compressed.

How is chipboard made?
A
Fibres and waste wood is glued and compressed together. Veneers are than place on top to give it a finished look.
