Track Area
In the tracks area, you build your song by arranging region (loops) on tracks located below the ruler.
Ruler/Grid
The timeline that runs the length of the project and is organized in bars (larger unit) and beats (smaller unit). The number of beats in a bar (on the ruler) depends on the time signature of the project.

- Apple loops are previewed at the project tempo. Increasing or decreasing the project tempo will alter the playback speed of loops.
- Dragging loop from the apple loop browser and dropping it into the timeline will create a new track for that loop.
Extending Loops
Loops can be extended by moving cursor toward the top right corner of the loop, clicking on the loop icon and dragging it to the right.
Loop Playback
loop playback allows you to listen to one section of a song without having to rewind and play after each pass.
Select the cycle button in the control bar and use the cursor to select the bars you wish to loop on the ruler display.
