A

For at least 1 hour before and 1 hour after ceiling will be less than 1000 and visibility will be less than 2 miles.
(Cannot be used for thunderstorms)
Destination airport must have a suitable CAT 2 or 3 approach available.
May not be used with 3585.
Must be labeled on flight plan.

A

Minimum fuel

A

Advise ATC and dispatch of a minimum fuel state by declaring minimum fuel when having committed to land at specific airport. Any change to the existing clearance may result in landing with less than final reserve fuel.

A

A

Disruptive, suspicious, or threatening situation or behavior.
Examples: non compliance of the no smoking rule or tampering with smoke detectors.
Disruptive behavior with no physical conflict .
Abusive language/verbal harassment/ defiant acts.
Actions in flight:
flight deck locked do not leave until conflict is resolved.
Consider PA.
Notify Dispatch of the incident
Contact dispatch if law enforcement and or GSC is required

A

Physically Abusive Behavior

Pushing, kicking, hitting, grabbing, inappropriate touching.
Malicious damage or defacing of aircraft or furnishings.
Attempt to damage another individual’s property.
Sexual assault/ alleged sexual assault.
In flight actions:
Flight deck lock down do not leave.
Turn on seat belt and reinforce with PA announcement.
Notify dispatch, request law enforcement and review diversion options.
Keep FA informed with plan.
Submit IOR

A

Life threatening behavior

Serious physical violence using a weapon hand to hand techniques choking or eye gouging.
Credible terrorist or sabotage of aircraft systems.
Suspected bomb, credible bomb threats or actual explosion
In flight actions:
Flight deck lock down.
Declare an emergency, squawk 7700
Make a PA
Notify dispatch of name seat number and any weapons involved.
Review diversion options and request law enforcement.
Brief FA.
Submit IOR

A

Attempted or actual breach of the flight deck

Examples: high jacking attempt.

In flight actions: flight deck lockdown, declare an emergency and squawk 7500,
PF consider 100% oxygen, land at the nearest suitable airport.
