Tragic Hero
Charecter of higher status - is admirabale but has major flaws or makes mistakes leading to downfall
Foil
Charecter whos personality or attitudes are in contrast too those of another charecter
Who is nurse a foil to?
Lady capulet. Nurse = affectionete. LC = distant
Tragedy
A drama that ends in a catastrophe. Often death for the main charecter
Heroic/rhyming couplet
Two rhymed lines of iambic pentameter, often used by Shakesphere to make transitions
How is the conflict of the play resolved?
When the capulets and montagues agree to put upp gold staues of their children and to stop the fighting
