What are Christian views on afterlife? (5)
A
- “ whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”
- New heaven and earth will be made after judgement day
- jesus said “ today you will be with me in paradise”
- Hell is a state of being separated from God because of ones actions on earth and rejection of God “the gate to hell is wide and the road that leads to it is easy”
- they believe in redemption so those who have commited sins may still go to heaven - “if your brother sins rebuke him, if he repents forgive him”

What are Muslim views on the afterlife? (6)

- “The righteous will have gardens in paradise beneath which river flow”
- The soul is released after death and taken by the angel of death to a state of waiting before judgement day.
- All they do on earth will be judged on the Day of Judgement
- Angels will have recorded a persons deeds in their life
- Entry depends on whether a person follows Allahs teachings are how they respond to people on earth
- “Fear the fire which has been prepared for those who reject faith”
