City Pair
standard time used for flight operations globally.
This ensures that all pilots, regardless of location, are using the
same 24-hour clock, thus avoiding confusion when flying
between time zones
Zulu time
Airlines traditionally have three travel
classes, First Class, Business Class, and Economy Class.
Depending on the cabin configuration will determine how many
classes of service are offered.
Class of service
a single letter code which represents
the type of fare and the class of service
Airline Booking code
the number of seats available in each and every
booking class. It can be available or not available depending on
the availability display
Seat count
A flight with no intermediate stop
Non-stop
It may have hidden stopover; no change in aircraft and flight number
Direct flight
– a flight that requires change of planes and flight numbers
Connecting Flight
Two types of connecting Flight
Online and Offline
A connecting Flight where same airline service from origin to destination
Online connecting Flight
A connecting Flight where there is different airline service from origin to destination
Offline connecting Flight
a change of equipment that occurs without change in flight number
Change of Gauge
