BRAINSTORMING GUIDELINES
- Enumerate the ideas and try to evaluate them.
- Select possible topics and list subtopics under each topic.
- You may draw lines, arrows, or stars, to show connections between various topics.
- Eliminate the topics that will not provide enough information, then free to write.

Set a time limit and number of words or pages.
Just write and do not edit.
Free Writing
- Simply involves listing ideas about a particular topic.
- It also helps you find the main idea and supporting details.

Use to show problem solving process by defining components of the problem and attempted solutions.
