Fin- How did negotiations look?
USED A SCOTT SCHDULE
Opposing surveyor explained areas of work they had done. Then we disagreed on a few rates. BCIS and previous tender rates were used.
FIN- How did you come to an agreement?
Using BCIS and previous tender rates I was able to be confident that most of the costs were realistic enough for the Client to then go do the works and no be short on money.
FIN- Who recommended the settlement figure and how was it done?
Phoned them to explain and then sent it in an email. Highlighted that rates and breaches were generally reasonable.
