SPS occur predominately in the

neocortex (but not always).

Where CPS occur?

A

CPS
occur predominately in sub-cortical temporal lobe structures
such as the hippocampal formation, amygdala, etc (but again
not always). CPS can occur in the temporal lobe itself as well as
frontal lobe.
