How are synbranchiformes and anguilliformes different?
There’s a single trasnverse slit in synbranchiforms.

mail cheeked fishes.

Suborder Platycephaloidei

Order Perciformes:
the perches,
largest and most diversified of fish orders
most dominate vertebrates in marine habitats
Order pleuronectiformes
flatfishes
from monophyletic assemblage,
Larval flatfishes are bilaterally symmetrical and swim upright, eye migrates across top of scull and lies on eyeless side.

What’s sinistral?
Flatfish is on their R side.
